EAST WEST Déka barbells feature a strong 216 000 PSI while maintaining an Olympic standard 28 mm shaft.  What does this mean?  It means we don’t pack on extra steel to increase the PSI, but rather heat treat the steel to get its strength. It takes longer to produce the bar, but the result is a bar with near unrivalled tensile strength, and a preferable 28 mm shaft. The brass alloy bushings provide a smooth and consistent rotation on the sleeves, and the manganese phosphate finish give you the feel of bare, raw steel, as it’s meant to be.
